Passive Infrared (PIR) motion sensors add a layer of security to your home smart security system. They detect motion and report back to the base station, which can then sound an alarm and alert you on your phone. (You can then view the video from that same phone.)
One PIR comes with the Home Smart kit. Additional PIRs can be added to the system to secure extra areas. All PIR motion sensors (and other elements of the Home Smart Security system) integrate with each other through your wifi network. They can therefore be placed anywhere within wireless range. No wires are needed and installation can take minutes. Mounting hardware is included in the kit with the PIR.
